WHAT: b. good is sponsoring a fundraiser for the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department to celebrate the start of the fall season. Canton’s volunteer fire and EMS members will be on site, at The Shoppes at Farmington Valley, giving tours of a fire truck and Canton’s new paramedic vehicle. They will also be providing information about opportunities to join the Town’s fire, emergency medical services and fire police.
The most popular member of the Department, Sparky the Dog, will be on hand to greet visitors!
HOW: b. good will donate 15% of all sales – on Tuesday, September 27th – to Canton’s volunteer firefighters, EMTs and Fire Police. 100% of this donation will be put towards training, equipment, retention and recruitment initiatives for Canton’s bravest.
WHY: “Since we were founded,” says Allie Kroner, executive director of the b. good Family Foundation, b.good has wanted to make the communities we are in better because we are there. To us, that means serving food made by people not factories; respecting the seasons and local farmers; and giving back to important community institutions.”
Since opening, almost a year ago in Canton, b. good’s customers have used b. good’s mobile app to donate over 600 food items to Canton’s volunteer firefighters, EMTs and Fire Police.
WHEN: Tuesday, September 27, 2016; 4:00pm to 7:30p.m.
WHERE: b.good, The Shoppes at Farmington Valley, Rte. 44, Canton.
