Ben & Jerry’s of Canton will be celebrating Free Cone Day to thank their customers for their patronage, and to raise money and awareness in support of the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department.

Volunteer fire and EMS members will be giving fire truck and ambulance tours, ‘passing the boot’ for donations and providing information about opportunities in the fire & emergency medical services. Come see the Department’s brand new Ladder-2 truck and meet Fire Celebrity Sparky the Dog!

Last year, Ben & Jerry’s of Canton distributed over 4,000 servings of their super premium ice cream during Free Cone Day. In return, customers were encouraged to make a donation to the Town of Canton Volunteer Fire & EMS Department.

In 2014, these donations totaled over $2,500.00. Since 2005, over $18,000.00 in donations have been raised for the Department through Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Days.

100% of all donations are put towards gear, training and equipment for Canton’s volunteer firefighters and EMTs.
